Tricog & Omron Aim for 100M Cardiac Screenings

BENGALURU, INDIA — In a significant stride towards combating India's escalating burden of cardiovascular diseases, Bengaluru-based AI-driven cardiac care company Tricog Health has expanded its strategic collaboration with Japanese electronics giant Omron Healthcare. The two industry leaders have jointly launched "KeeboHealth," an advanced connected health platform, with the ambitious goal of screening 100 million patients for cardiac health across India by 2030.

The partnership, which builds on an initial collaboration from 2023, aims to revolutionize remote cardiac care by leveraging cutting-edge artificial intelligence, real-time data analytics, and home-based monitoring solutions. KeeboHealth is designed to empower both healthcare providers and patients in the proactive management of heart conditions, moving towards Omron's global "Going for Zero" vision – a world with zero cardiovascular events.

Dr. Charit Bhograj, CEO and Founder of Tricog Health, emphasized the urgency of their mission, noting that approximately 3 million Indians succumb to cardiovascular complications each year. "KeeboHealth is more than technology; it's hope for millions living with heart failure," Dr. Bhograj stated. "By continuously analyzing patient data and detecting early warning signs, we can deliver timely, tailored interventions, even in regions where access to specialists is limited. Our collaboration with OMRON ensures we're not just treating disease but actively preventing the devastating consequences of heart failure."

The KeeboHealth platform integrates seamlessly with Omron's range of connected devices, including home ECG monitors, blood pressure monitors, and weighing scales. This allows for continuous and personalized care, with data flowing in real-time to Tricog's AI engine. The AI continuously monitors heart health, flags early warning signs, and instantly alerts medical teams when intervention is needed. This proactive system aims to detect heart issues before a patient's condition deteriorates, significantly reducing the need for hospitalizations.

Ayumu Okada, President and CEO of Omron Healthcare Co. Ltd., reiterated Omron's four-decade commitment to addressing India's health challenges. "KeeboHealth merges our trusted devices, such as the OMRON Complete BP monitor with ECG, with Tricog's AI to bridge the gap between home and clinical care," said Okada. "It enhances both early diagnosis and clinical efficiency, supporting our mission of 'Going for Zero.'"

Preliminary studies conducted by Tricog in India in 2024 have already demonstrated the transformative impact of KeeboHealth's Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) solution. Results showed a remarkable 30% reduction in hospital readmission rates and a 45% improvement in adherence to Guideline-Directed Medical Therapy (GDMT) for heart failure patients. These outcomes highlight the platform's potential to improve patient outcomes, enable timely intervention, and enhance chronic disease management across diverse healthcare settings.

The two companies plan a wide-scale rollout of KeeboHealth across India throughout 2025. This initiative is expected to bring AI-powered, preventive heart care accessible to millions, particularly benefiting underserved populations and regions with limited access to specialized cardiac care. The strategic partnership between Tricog's AI expertise and Omron's trusted home monitoring technology is set to redefine cardiac care delivery, offering a scalable and cost-effective solution to combat India's growing cardiac crisis and contribute significantly to global heart health initiatives.
