The anxious wait for lakhs of students and parents across the state is officially over. Today, Thursday, April 23, 2026, the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) formally declared the Class 10 (SSLC) Examination-1 results at a high-profile midday press conference in Bengaluru.
Over 8.65 lakh students who appeared for the crucial board exams between March 18 and April 2 can now access their official scores.
With the official links now live, students require their Registration Number and Date of Birth to log into the portals. The results can be accessed at:
Alternative Access: Because official portals frequently crash under massive midday traffic surges, the KSEAB has enabled multiple alternative platforms. Students can instantly download their digital marksheets via the DigiLocker portal or the KarnatakaOne mobile app.
For students without immediate internet access, scores can be received directly via SMS. Simply text KAR10 <Roll Number> and send it to 56263.
The defining headline of the 2026 results is the astronomical, record-breaking jump in the passing rate. The state recorded a staggering overall pass percentage of 94.10%—a massive, unprecedented leap from last year's 80.04%.
The top tier of the results board is equally impressive. Three exceptional students from across the state achieved the ultimate academic milestone, securing a flawless, perfect score of 625 out of 625 marks. Furthermore, the state witnessed a significant surge in high achievers, with over 68,000 students crossing the elite 90% threshold to secure an A+ grade.
Continuing a long-standing and dominant academic trend in the state, female students comfortably outperformed their male peers this year. Girls recorded a stellar pass percentage of 96.18%, leaving the boys trailing at 91.94%.
Interestingly, the urban-rural divide flipped the conventional narrative. Students from rural schools slightly edged out their urban counterparts, logging a 94.80% pass rate against the urban rate of 93.2%.
On a district level, Dakshina Kannada emerged as the undisputed top-performing district in the state, boasting a near-perfect 98.4% pass rate. On the other end of the spectrum, Kalaburagi recorded the lowest performance, placing last in the district rankings with 85.06%.
For students who did not clear the examinations, the KSEAB will soon release the schedule for the supplementary exams (Exam-2), expected to be held next month, offering a vital second chance to secure their academic future without losing a year.
