NEW DELHI, INDIA — Acer has officially launched the Aspire Go 14 in the Indian market, positioning it as a highly accessible "AI laptop" designed to bring advanced artificial intelligence capabilities to a broader audience. Starting at an aggressive price of ₹59,999, the new laptop aims to democratize AI-powered computing, targeting students, home users, and first-time buyers.

The Acer Aspire Go 14 stands out by integrating AI features typically found in more premium segments. It is powered by up to Intel Core Ultra 7 H-series processors, which include a built-in Intel AI Boost Neural Processing Unit (NPU). This dedicated NPU is crucial for handling AI-specific workloads on the device, allowing for enhanced performance in tasks like real-time video effects, noise cancellation, and even some content summarization, without solely relying on cloud processing.

A key highlight of the Aspire Go 14 is the inclusion of a dedicated Copilot key, providing instant access to Microsoft's AI assistant within Windows 11. This allows users to quickly leverage AI tools for searching information, summarizing content, and streamlining tasks using text, voice, or ink inputs. Acer emphasizes that these AI integrations, powered by Intel AI Boost, aim to enhance everyday productivity and responsiveness for users.

Beyond its AI prowess, the Aspire Go 14 offers a compelling set of specifications for its price point. It features a 14-inch WUXGA IPS display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, promising an enhanced viewing experience for both work and entertainment. The laptop boasts a lightweight design, weighing just 1.5 kg and measuring 17.5mm thin, making it highly portable. Its sleek aluminum metal cover adds a premium touch to its aesthetic.

Under the hood, users can configure the Aspire Go 14 with up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM and up to 1TB of PCIe Gen 3 SSD storage, ensuring smooth multitasking and ample space for files. Integrated Intel Arc Graphics support seamless content consumption, basic editing, and efficient multitasking. Connectivity options are robust, including Wi-Fi 6 (AX202), Bluetooth 5.2, two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, two USB Type-C ports (one with DisplayPort and Power Delivery), and an RJ45 Ethernet port. For video calls, it includes an HD webcam with a physical privacy shutter.

Sudhir Goel, Chief Business Officer at Acer India, highlighted the significance of the launch. "The Aspire Go 14 marks a meaningful leap in bringing AI-powered computing to a wider audience. We are seeing increasing demand from students, home users, and young professionals for devices that are both affordable and capable. With this launch, we are delivering AI features that were once exclusive to premium laptops, including Copilot integration, NPU-driven enhancements, and high-performance H-series processors into the entry-level segment."

The Acer Aspire Go 14 is available for purchase across Acer exclusive stores, Acer's online store, and major e-commerce platforms like Amazon India. Its introduction is expected to further intensify competition in the budget laptop segment and accelerate the adoption of AI-ready PCs in the Indian market.
